Price Changes

Hey there, naturalists:

Just a heads up, we’ll be slightly raising the MSRP of our products on July 1st, 2025. It’s been six years since we launched Nocs Provisions, and the time has come for a price adjustment. Given our commitment to build a long-lasting, durable brand that can stand the test of time, we need to slightly adjust our pricing to continue to operate sustainably. Our adjustments are as minimal as possible, and most of our products remain right where you expect them. Our best-selling Standard Issue binoculars will still be under $100. The Zoom Tube? Still under $80.

Your support of the Nocs brand has enabled our donations of over one hundred thousand dollars to non-profits helping people from underserved communities get into the outdoors. Additionally, we’ve donated thousands of binoculars to equip gear libraries in these nonprofit organizations, providing access to binoculars for their event participants, resident naturalists, and students. We are not stopping this anytime soon, as we donate 1% of our revenue to these organizations.

As we operate, we carefully measure our carbon emissions and support climate projects that help offset the emissions we produce as a business. We’re committed to protecting the environment, and by supporting these orgs, we’re making sure there’s a natural world to feast our eyes on. We’ve used plastic-free packaging since day one—and again, we are fully committed to continuing this. Our footprint is small, and we’re setting goals to make it smaller.

We believe we need to set an example as a next-generation outdoor brand, and by doing these things, we’re committed to setting a lasting example of what an outdoor brand should be doing in this day and age. This price adjustment is a simple one—just rounding up our prices to ensure that we can continue to operate sustainably, support our customers, and support our community.

It is worth mentioning that our factory is based overseas. We work with one of the best optics suppliers on the planet. Given our distribution at REI, we have extensively audited our factory conditions and have a signed manufacturing code of conduct that is aligned with our values. The factory leader is California educated and ensures that the factory staff operate in a safe environment, are paid well, work regular hours, and do not cut corners. Many of the preeminent brands in the US use this same manufacturer. The quality is frankly unparalleled anywhere in the world at this scale. Our defective warranty rate is one of the lowest in the industry.

Regardless, we are continuing to study the implementation of a domestic manufacturing facility. There’s plenty of sand in Nevada, and we continue to study and analyze this investment. Our slight price adjustment here reflects our commitment to continue to do things right and build a long-lasting brand that stands behind our values and our product in the field. Thank you for being part of the Nocs community and supporting a small team that’s always committed to doing right by people and the planet.
